Ever looked for, and perhaps struggled to find, other women in business in the local community?
Enterprising Women Dorset may be the answer.
An increasing number of senior managerial, managerial and entrepreneurial positions in this part of Dorset are held by women. Enterprising Women Dorset is a group founded by local business women for local business women in order to provide a forum for professional women to network, share best practice and ideas and explore business opportunities.
The group is still flexible and is developing at the will of the members, the first gatherings have taken the format of a welcoming drink, a presentation on a topic of interest to members, followed by a buffet and opportunities to socialise and network. Individual events to date have been both free, and subject to a small charge and the cost of future events will similarly vary, members are welcome to pick and choose which events they attend.

Our members are developing business relationships and are already providing an informal support network as other members become a first port of call for problem solving. Those interested in joining the group are welcome to attend an event free of charge to find out what we are all about. After that there is a joining fee of £25, and from January 2009 there will be an annual membership fee of £15. A downloadable membership form can be found here.
